The Reverse Ride

15 September 2026

Ready to switch things up? The Reverse Ride puts a playful spin on a familiar favourite. Before we begin, please keep in mind that this is an advanced position and communication is key. Check in with each other, keep movements controlled and adjust your positioning whenever needed. The Reverse Ride is all about confidence, connection and trying something a little different together. Have fun with this shape, laugh at the wobbles and enjoy the journey in and out of this shape.

Now, as this is advanced, make sure you’re feeling warm and limber. Once comfortable, the base-giving partner will find a supported position comfortably on a sturdy surface, mimicking the shape displayed above. To create a stronger level of stability, focus on good body alignment and joint stacking. Keep your hands directly underneath your shoulders, with your knees and feet positioned comfortably beneath your hips. Engage your core and glutes to create a strong, supported base, keeping your back steady and avoiding unnecessary strain. The goal is to feel strong and balanced before your partner moves into position.Β

Once the base partner is settled, the receiving partner can slowly move into position, climbing on top of the giver and taking their time to slowly adjust until both parties are aligned. Make small adjustments as you go to ensure you’re both comfortable. There is no need to rush this transition; enjoy the journey to find the right shape. Because this shape is more visual, it’s also a great excuse to have some fun with the styling. A favourite lingerie set, playful costume or even a little mood lighting can turn the moment into a full bedroom fantasy.
